What We Do

Drilling & Foundation Services

Bedrock Drilling Co. provides drilling services for signs, bollards, light poles, fencing, structural footings, and landscaping across Central Texas. Concrete footing installation, masonry work, and spoil removal also available.

Sign Foundation Drilling

We drill foundations for a wide range of signage installations. Hole size varies depending on sign design, height, and engineering requirements. We work directly with sign companies, contractors, and electricians who need clean, correctly sized holes drilled on schedule. From small parking lot signs to large pylon structures, we have the equipment and experience to drill to spec.

Applications

  • Parking lot signs
  • ADA parking signs
  • Directional signage
  • Monument signs
  • Pylon signs
  • Retail plaza signage
  • Structural sign footings

Bollard Installation Foundations

We drill foundation holes for safety bollards installed at commercial and retail locations. Bollards protect storefronts, gas station canopies, parking lots, and warehouse access points from vehicle damage. Typical hole diameters range from 12" to 18" depending on bollard size and installation requirements. Concrete encasement is available as part of the service.

Applications

  • Storefront protection bollards
  • Gas station bollards
  • Parking lot safety posts
  • Warehouse protection posts

Light Pole Foundations

Light pole foundations require precise hole sizing based on pole height and structural specifications. We drill foundations for parking lot lights, security lighting, and commercial property lighting installations. We work directly with electrical contractors and project managers to confirm specs before mobilizing.

Applications

  • Parking lot lighting
  • Security lighting
  • Commercial property lighting
  • Sports field and recreational lighting

Fence Post Hole Drilling

We help fence contractors and property owners install fencing faster by drilling holes efficiently, even in difficult soil conditions and caliche. This service is available for commercial fencing projects requiring multiple holes drilled accurately and on schedule.

Applications

  • Commercial fencing
  • Security fencing
  • Chain link fencing
  • Ranch fencing

Deck & Structural Footing Holes

We drill holes for structural footings and supports for a variety of residential and commercial applications. Typical hole sizes range from 12" to 24" diameter depending on structural requirements and load specifications.

Applications

  • Deck footings
  • Pergola footings
  • Small structural foundations
  • Carport and shade structure supports

Landscaping & Tree Planting Holes

Landscapers and contractors sometimes require multiple holes drilled quickly for planting or structural installations. We help landscaping teams work faster by drilling holes efficiently across the project site.

Applications

  • Tree planting holes
  • Landscape structures
  • Irrigation anchors
  • Outdoor feature installations

Concrete Footings & Masonry Work

In addition to drilling, we perform concrete footing installation and masonry work required for sign bases, bollards, and structural installations. We can coordinate concrete placement into drilled holes, set anchor bolt templates, build masonry sign bases, and complete the full foundation preparation — keeping more of the work under one contractor.

Applications

  • Concrete foundation pours
  • Sign footing installation
  • Anchor bolt placement
  • Masonry sign bases
  • Brick or block bases for monument signs
  • Bollard concrete installation

Site Cleanup

Spoil Removal & Site Cleanup

Drilling foundation holes generates excess soil that must be handled during the job. Depending on project requirements, spoil may be left on site, relocated elsewhere on site, or hauled away entirely.

Spoil handling requirements can affect project pricing based on soil volume, site access, and disposal needs. We address this during quoting so there are no surprises.

  • Soil left on site (near holes)
  • Soil spread or moved elsewhere on site
  • Haul-off and disposal of excess material
  • Site cleanup after drilling is complete

Why This Matters for Your Quote

A project requiring haul-off and disposal of several yards of clay or caliche is different from one where soil can remain on site. Let us know your site constraints when requesting a quote and we'll include spoil handling in the scope.

Concrete & Masonry Projects

For concrete footing and masonry work, site cleanup is coordinated as part of the overall scope. We discuss cleanup expectations before starting work so your site is left in the condition you expect.
